This role is pivotal in driving value into our product offerings by providing in-depth analysis, innovative solutions, and actionable insights related to cloud cost optimization.

Job requirements

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP

• Hands-on capabilities in cloud native environments (k8s)

• Proficiency in big data analytics (SQL) and data modelling

• Familiarity with cloud infra / DevOps tools and processes

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical skills

• Advanced research methodologies

• Proven track record of conducting hands-on, low-level research

• Proven track record of delivering innovative POCs

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively at the junction of research, product, and development

Advantages

• Published technical research artifacts (blog/white papers/OSS etc.)

• Experience in public speaking (conferences, meetups, etc.)

• Knowledge of machine learning (time-series models, LLM, etc.)

• Prior cloud security research experience

Job responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hands-on research on cloud computing technologies, trends and best practices with a focus on cost optimization

• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate research findings and PoCs into new features and enhancements
