## Closing Out 2024 at Industry Events

The PointFive team closed out 2024 by attending several major industry events, bringing opportunities to meet the team, learn about cloud efficiency, and connect with fellow practitioners.

## FinOps X Barcelona (November 11-14, 2024)

PointFive attended FinOps X in Barcelona with a packed agenda:

- Breakout Session:  "How Nubank Contextualizes Cloud Usage Patterns to Empower Engineering Cost Efficiency" featuring Alon Arvatz and Mike Rosenberg (Wednesday, 3:30-4:15 PM, Studio 3)

- Booth Presence:  Located in the main expo hall with a raffle for a cruise to Palma De Mallorca

- Meeting Scheduling:  Available for one-on-one conversations

## KubeCon (November 12-15, 2024)

PointFive was also present at KubeCon in Salt Lake City. Attendees could connect with Dave Swarr to learn about PointFive's approach to Kubernetes cost management. Meetings were available through LinkedIn or direct scheduling.

## AWS re:Invent (December 2-6, 2024)

The team headed to Las Vegas for AWS re:Invent with several activities planned:

- Lightning Talk:  "DeepWaste Detection: Applying Cyber Methodologies to Cost Optimization" (Wednesday, 4:00-4:20 PM)

- Booth #2166:  Available throughout the conference

- Scavenger Hunt:  With Apple AirTag prizes for participants
